I need a juicier come on.

After only 6 days and 36 tweets, @CondeElevator amassed over 66,000 followers on Twitter. Their schtick was OverheardinNewYork.com meets “The Devil Wears Prada.” Their first tweet read:
Woman #1 to Woman #2, holding an omelet: “What’s the occasion?” Woman #2: “…huh?” Woman #1: “I would need an occasion to eat that.”
It was a brilliant concept and wildly popular. Apparently too popular. Less than a week after showing up on the Twitter scene, @CondeElevator was gone again. Turns out, the anonymous founder of @CondeElevator wasn’t expecting such a huge response and, in fear of losing his/her job at 4 Times Square, closed the account on August 11th with a final tweet.
Girl or Guy #1 [in elevator alone]: This got really crazy. Love my job. Better stop. #sorry
I’ve been on Twitter since April 2009, I’ve tweeted over 100 times (pathetic in Twitter world, but it blows @CondeElevator out of the water) and I’ve only got 659 followers.

As of today, @CondeElevator has 86,634 followers and counting. 36 tweets, an official, “I’m out of here post,” and over 86,000 followers.
To put it in Twitter speak: #thisisbullshit
